BNEWSID – Ubud Warrior Fight Club successfully held Sparring Event Vol. 1, which took place enthusiastically on Monday (December 29), serving as a platform to test skills while strengthening bonds among fighters and martial arts communities across Bali.
The sparring event was attended by several fight clubs and athletes from various regions, featuring multiple combat sports disciplines including boxing, kickboxing, and muaythai. Beyond competitive practice, the event aimed to enhance athletes’ mental toughness, technical abilities, and sportsmanship.
Founder of Ubud Warrior Fight Club, De Jangga, expressed his appreciation and gratitude to all parties who supported the event through a post on his Facebook account.
“The excitement of yesterday’s Sparring Event Vol. 1. Our sincere thanks to the Ubud Warrior Fight Club Team, Keboiwa Fight Club Team, Sema Agung Klungkung Team, Ajik Ngurah Haryawan from Bangli, and all friends who have supported us,” De Jangga wrote.
He also acknowledged the support of Jengah Fight Promotion, which contributed to the successful execution of the event, while inviting the wider combat sports community to look forward to upcoming programs.
Looking ahead, the Ubud Warrior Fight Club plans to organize this sparring event regularly every three months, positioning it as a continuous platform for athlete development and the growth of combat sports in Bali.
With strong enthusiasm from participants and solid backing from various stakeholders, the event is expected to become a sustainable agenda that produces accomplished fighters and further strengthens the combat sports ecosystem on the Island of the Gods. (*)
